Being a newer option theres not a lot of reviews out there on the gen y executive so looking forward to. Be careful considering the gen y goose box. It is shorter than the reese by several inches (distance between truck and trailer), and it vertical adjustment is very limited.

Reese ® is a registered brand of. Additionally, it appears the gen y might provide more clearance on tight turns over the bed rails then the reese (but that’s just me looking). Finally, the reese from watching some. The reese goose box max rated 20k where the gen y is 25k and 4500 pin.
The ride we get with the pinnacle, our truck and the goose box is the best we have had and this is fifth wheel number 6 for us. [pertaining to frame warranty,] lippert approves the goose box (and not any of the others, like gen y, to my knowledge) and that tidbit is what tipped the scales towards goose. The difference is that the goose box uses air to help keep the trailer up higher and pull easier. Its weight capacity is 16,000 and 20,000 pounds with a pin weight maximum of 3200 and 4000.
