Quick troubleshoot for when headlights won't come on or only work intermittently Swap relay 45 and 46 in your underhood fuse panel to see if your headlights come back on. If that makes them come back on, buy a replacement relay. Make sure to immediately replace the #45 relay. Only swap 46 and 45. Other relays are not compatible for these sockets. If your lights flicker as opposed to turning off, check for other loose connections.

If BOTH headlights go out at the same time, this is a good test procedure. If swapping the relays (aka HDMs) makes the headlights work, replace the HDM part number 15016745. Note: I am using a computer safe test light in this video. It is not recommended to use a standard incandescent test light for these tests.
